About Me

I am Danielle Abernathy.  I married my wonderful husband in 2010!!! I am a graduate of  Appalachian State University. I am from Valdese, NC. I am from a very large family and I am definitely a very family oriented person. I have three sisters, a step brother, and two nieces one that is in third grade and one that is only seven months old! I love animals and I have two pets Sinckers (dog) and Jasmine (cat)! I have always enjoyed school and longed to be a teacher for so long. I love working with kids! I started working at Oakdale Elementary in 2012 and I am so glad that I am a part of the Oakdale family.
